About the role

You will run the stand. That means owning the instrumentation plan, writing and dry-running the procedures, pressing the button on hot fires, and turning the resulting data into answers the design team can act on.

What you will own

Design and maintain the instrumentation and DAQ setup for engine tests
Write, review and dry-run test procedures before every campaign
Operate the stand during hot fires and lead the abort call
Reduce and present test data against predicted performance
Drive corrective actions when hardware behaves unexpectedly

What we are looking for

Degree in mechanical, aerospace or a closely related engineering discipline
Hands-on experience with pressurised fluid systems or propulsion test hardware
Comfortable with sensors, signal conditioning and data acquisition
Calm and methodical when hardware is live

Nice to have

Experience with cryogenic propellant handling
Python or MATLAB for data reduction
Prior work on a liquid rocket engine programme
