About the role

Turbomachinery sets the ceiling on what a pump-fed engine can do. You will own the pumps and turbines for the HR-25 and HR-2 from first sizing through to hardware on the stand.

What you will own

Size and design centrifugal pumps and turbines for cryogenic service
Run the CFD and rotordynamic analysis that supports those designs
Work with manufacturing on producible geometry and tolerances
Support component and engine-level testing, and close the loop on test data

What we are looking for

Strong grounding in turbomachinery aerodynamics and rotordynamics
Practical CFD experience on rotating machinery
Experience taking a design through manufacture
