About Us
At Hathor, we're building the propulsion layer for the space industry. We specialize in design, development and production of liquid rocket engines for launch vehicles, in-space mobility and strategic applications. With capabilities spanning engine design, manufacturing, testing and qualification, our goal is to become a trusted engine supplier for the global space industry.
Our closed-knit team works across propulsion, turbomachinery, manufacturing, testing and business operations. The ambition isn't simply to build something first but to build systems that compete with the world's best in terms of technology, performance and reliability.
Everyone here has significant ownership and responsibility. You’ll work directly on meaningful problems and see your work shape what we build. We hire carefully because every addition to the team matters.
The people we bring on today will define the company we become tomorrow.
What You'll Work On
- Combustion chamber design
- Cooling system design (regenerative and film cooling)
- Gas dynamics: choking, shocks, and expansion analysis
- Injector design and performance validation
- Cryogenic propellant handling and thermal systems
- Working closely with manufacturing to translate designs into hardware
- Test data reduction and failure analysis
Who Can Apply
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Aerospace, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, compressible flow, and heat transfer
- Hands-on propulsion projects are appreciated
- Engineers determined to move from equations to hardware without hesitation
- An engineer's curiosity for engines, around the clock
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in liquid rocket engine cycles, propellant chemistry, combustion, and performance analysis
- Working knowledge of injector design, atomization, and mixing efficiency
- Experience with regenerative or film cooling design and thermal-structural trade-offs
- Familiarity with compressible flow, gas dynamics, and heat transfer in high-temperature, high-pressure environments
- Experience with CAD tools, propulsion analysis software, and test instrumentation or data acquisition is highly beneficial
- Ability to work on-site in a hands-on environment, collaborate across disciplines, and support occasional extended test or integration campaigns
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
We are looking for self-driven engineers who believe in what we're building and want to be an active part of it. If you want predictable simulations and clean theoretical problems, this role won't suit you. If you want to design systems that handle cryogens, survive heat and shocks, and push combustion to its limits, let's talk.
