What you’ll work on:

• Structural design and analysis of rocket engine hardware and propulsion test systems
• Detailed CAD models, assemblies, and production-ready manufacturing drawings
• High-pressure vessels, structural supports, mounts, frames, and load paths
• Material selection and validation under combined thermal and mechanical loads
• Structural integrity assessment during propulsion testing
• Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for structural and pressure components
• Failure Mode Identification and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for test anomalies
• Fatigue, fracture, and buckling analysis under cyclic and transient loading
• Stress concentration evaluation and margin of safety calculations
• Thermal stress and creep assessment for high-temperature regions
• Pressure vessel code-based assessment (ASME Section VIII familiarity is appreciated)
• Continuous interaction with manufacturing to ensure designs are buildable and robust

Who can apply:

• B.E./M.E. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil Engineers and Structural Engineering
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics of materials and structural analysis
• Clear understanding of stress, strain, buckling, fatigue, and failure modes
• Working knowledge of engineering materials and selection under high-pressure environments
• Proficiency in CAD tools 
• Experience with manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and machining constraints
• Familiarity with FEA tools for structural validation is an advantage
• Knowledge of high-pressure vessel design or propulsion test systems is preferred
